United Way Beaumont Partner Agencies
Our System of Stewardship
United Way Beaumont & North Jefferson County currently funds 28 essential community programs provided by 18 local nonprofit partner agencies.
Each year, these organizations submit to a rigorous qualification and accountability review process led by our elected Board of Trustees — local leaders who live and work alongside the neighbors we serve. Based on identified community needs, available resources, and demonstrated impact, our Trustees strategically invest donor dollars where they will make the greatest good for the greatest number of people in need.
This strict system of stewardship ensures that every funded partner maintains our high standards of transparency, fiscal responsibility, program integrity, and proven results. Once successfully vetted, partner agencies benefit from the credibility that comes with being a United Way partner — signaling to other donors and grantmakers that they are trusted community stewards.
